FALL 2024
Designed and developed action figures across the Masters of the Universe Origins, Core, and Masterverse lines, adapting designs for a wide range of audiences—from kid-focused play to collector-level detail.
I worked on over 18 products planned for a 2026 launch, leading early concept direction, play feature exploration, and visual development that shaped each figure’s identity before being approved and handed off to the sculpting team.
Carried several products through to the DSP (Design Specification Package) stage, with deliverables including orthographic views, material and color callouts, play feature diagrams, deco maps, part breakdowns, and tooling notes to support manufacturing and cross-functional alignment.
Collaborated closely with engineering, marketing, and packaging teams to refine product concepts, ensure brand alignment, and translate ideas into clear, actionable next steps.
As a newcomer to the MOTU brand, I took initiative to deeply research its 1980s origins, reboots, and character lore—allowing me to contribute informed, respectful design work that aligned with the franchise’s legacy and fan expectations.
